Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia is A darkly fascinating gothic horror novel set in 1950’s Mexico. It gave me vibes of Rebecca and Get Out while reading it. Unsettling, beautifully written with perfect pacing, I can definitely recommend. The lines between dreams and reality were seamlessly blurred.
I really must read more of this author’s work.
